How to Find UTN Servers/USB Devices in the
Network
In order to display the existing UTN servers and their connected USB
devices in the network list, the network needs to be scanned. The
network can be scanned via multicast and/or freely definable ranges.
The default setting is multicast search in the local network segment.

Requirements
The SEH UTN Manager (complete version) is installed on the
client; see:
Proceed as follows:
1. Start the SEH UTN Manager.
2. Select
Program – Options
from the menu bar.
The
Options
dialog appears.
3. Select the
Network Scan
tab.
4. Tick
IP Range Search
and define one or more network ranges.
5. Click
OK
.
The settings are saved.
Scanning the Network
Requirements
The SEH UTN Manager (complete version) is installed on the
client; see:
Proceed as follows:
1. Start the SEH UTN Manager.
2. Select
Selection List – Edit
from the menu bar.
The
Edit Selection List
dialog appears.
3. Click
Scan
.
The network is scanned. The UTN servers and USB devices found
are displayed in the network list.
