glycol service ports. 

 

3.5  Connecting Seawater to Heat Exchanger 

1) 

Connect seawater from installer supplied pump to ½” (12.5 mm) hose barb on gyro side of heat 
exchanger. Use the same practices as other below waterline seawater plumbing.  Required flow 
rate is 2 GPM (8 LPM) or greater. 

2) 

Connect seawater discharge to overboard drain.  Use the same practices as other below 
waterline seawater plumbing.
