Section 2: ELECTRICAL INSTALLATION
2. ROUTE SERIAL COMMUNICATIONS CABLE
a. Customer supplied CABLE 5: 6x20AWG shielded cable with a maximum outer diameter
of 8mm (0.315 inch).
b. CABLE 5 must be routed and installed in the vessel between the PCB Gyro Control Box
and the Operator Station.
3. INSTALL OPERATOR STATION EQUIPMENT
a. The Operator Station equipment is installed at the determined location using Electrical
Equipment Mounting Instructions in Section 2.1 steps 1 ‐ 6.
4. CONNECT OPERATOR STATION EQUIPMENT
a. The Operator Station equipment is connected in accordance with the Cable Block
Diagram, 90023.
b. Install Seakeeper provided connector P/N: 30076 (Turck P/N: 8181 ‐ 0) on CABLE 5 using
Work Instruction 018.
