3. Trim cable jacket as shown in cable
preparation detail.
4. Fold braided shield back over cable to
expose inner conductors.
Notes: Maintain the weave of braided shield.
Remove all shield clippings from cable and
connector.
5. Strip insulation on wires as shown.
6. Install ferrules on wire ends using
Weidmüller crimp tool PZ 4 (or equivalent).
Note: Ferrules are not required if bare conductor
nearly fills the screw terminal.
Ferrule part numbers: McMaster-Carr 7950K76,
Weidmüller 9025740000.
7. Insert wire ferrules into connector screw
clamps according to schematic diagram at
end of instructions and tighten.
Note: Insulator is placed on center terminal.
Note: Terminals (pins) 5 & 7 are not used.
