4-Pin Shielded Switched Output Connector for PCB Gyro

Component parts of the 4-pin all-metal shielded connector are identified in the picture above.
Step 1
Identify the components of the Turck CMBS connector and organize the necessary tools.
Notes: The SHIELDING BELL can fit flush inside the BACKSHELL and may be inserted there for the
duration of the connector installation.
Recommended tools:

Cable cutter
•
Electrician’s knife
•
Wire cutter
•
Wire stripper
•
Ferrule crimper
•
Miniature screwdriver
Step 2
Slide items on cable before beginning termination and connector assembly: clear heat-shrink tubing,
dome nut, clamp, spacer, seal, & backshell. (Shielding bell can be inside backshell.)
Note: Clear heat-shrink tubing is only required if a label is to be applied to the cable.
