Works like the
“BEST-FIT”
algorithm, with the exception that the controller switches on and off several
stages one by one with a shortened switching time, if necessary. The set switching time is ignored in
the process.
The stage sizes must be entered manually, because the stage recognition is always deactivated in this
algorithm. The entry should be as precise as possible, because the control will otherwise tend to
oscillate.
Stages with the stage type
“
FON
” and “
FOFF
” are skipped by the control. Stages which have been
switched off by the alarm system via the stage switch-off sequence and have been locked for max. 30
min. are also skipped.
NOTE:
The stage exchange function and the stage recognition are always deactivated. An updating of
the stage sizes, an recognition of defective stages and an recognition of power loss of the individual
stages by the control are not possible.
FIFO
“First IN, First OUT” (cyclic control): The controller starts with stage 1 and switches on the stage of the
next higher number each time, if necessary. When switching off, the controller starts with stage 1 and
switches off the stage of the next higher number each time, if necessary. If stages 3 to 7 are still
switched on, the control starts with stage 8 when switching on. If stage 12 has been switched on and
stage 1 has not yet been switched on, the control starts with stage 1 next. When switching off, the
control starts with stage 3. If stage 12 has been switched off and stage 1 is still switched on, the control
starts with stage 1 next. It is checked individually for each stage, if the switching operation is useful.
This may lead to an unprecise compensation in case of stages of different sizes.
Blocked defective stages (
“FAULTY”
) and stages with the stage type
“
FON
” and “
FOFF
” are skipped
by the control. Stages which have been switched off by the alarm system via the stage switch-off
sequence and have been locked for max. 30 min. are also skipped.
If a stage is identified as defective and blocked (
“FAULTY”
) after being switched on 3 times, this stage
will be skipped by the control.
If stages which have been identified as defective are not locked, the function
“
Lock faulty stages
”
(SETUP/309) must be deactivated. Otherwise, the affected stage will be switched on and off
unnecessarily.
These stages are switched on and immediately switched off again and skipped by the control. The next
stage is used for switch-on. When switching off, blocked defective stages are also skipped. The
defective stages will again be switched on and immediately switched off again and skipped during the
next cycle of the cyclic control.
Example:
Stages 12, 1, 2, 3, 4 are switched on, stage 5 is defective and not switched on. When switching on,
stage 5 is switched on and immediately switched off again. Stage 5 is skipped and stage 6 is switched
on instead. Stages 7, 8, 9, 10, 11 are switched on normally one by one. When switching off, the stages
12, 1, 2, 3 and 4 are switched off. As stage 5 is defective and was already switched off, this is skipped
and stage 6 is switched off next. Stages 7, 8, 9, 10 and 11 are switched off normally one by one. Stage
5 is switched on and immediately switched off again and skipped during each cycle of the cyclic control
for as long as the function
“
Lock faulty stages
” (SETUP/309) is deactivated. If the function “
Lock
faulty stages
” (SETUP/309) is activated, stage 5 is not blocked until after the third switch-on attempt
and skipped automatically during each cycle of the cyclic control.
NOTE:
The stage exchange function and the switching distribution via the switching cycles or the
operating hours are always deactivated in case of stages of the same size.
NOTE:
It is not possible to switch the stages manually.
