5. Programming Reference
T (Test) Zones with this attribute are disabled for a 14 day
period. If the zone is opened during this time then the system
logs the event as a "SOAKFAIL" without sounding any bells
or starting signalling. The system also displays a
"SOAKFAIL" message followed by any programmed Installer
message on the keypad display. If at the end of the 14 day
period no violations have occurred, the system removes the
test attribute.
Note: ‘Test’ is available only for NA zone types.
41-LEVEL ALLOCATE
Use this menu to:
a) Allocate Areas to Levels, and
b) Allocate keyswitch zones to Levels.
42-LEVEL EXT MODE
Use this menu to set the exit mode for each Level.
Each Level can have its own exit mode and exit time (Between 1 and 300
seconds), depending on requirements. The following exit modes are avail-
able:
TIME (Timed or Terminate) All Areas belonging to the Level set
when the programmed exit time expires, or when a user
presses the exit terminate button. When the exit terminate
button is pressed, the system cancels any remaining exit
time.
Notes:
a) The exit terminate button must be connected to a keypad allocated to the
Level you are programming. Use Menu 47 to allocate the keypad.
b) The system waits seven seconds from the terminate button being pressed in
order to allow PIRs to settle.
TERM (Terminate) Areas belonging to the Level set when the final
door is closed and a user presses an exit terminate button.
Notes:
a) The exit terminate button must be connected to a keypad allocated to the
Level you are programming. Use Menu 47 to allocate the keypad.
b) The system sets the exit time to infinity when you select ‘Terminate’ exit
mode.
FDS (Final Door Set) All Areas belonging to the Level set seven
seconds after the zone programmed as Final Exit changes
state from open to closed. (This allows any PIRs to settle.)
Each time the door is opened it resets the seven second
timer.
