5.2 TROUBLESHOOTING TABLE (Cont’d)

TROUBLESHOOTING TABLE

PRINTER CREATES A BLANK MEDIA

Data input error.

Make sure that the data stream is correct.

Incorrect media sensor selection.

Set the sensor correctly.

Print head is disconnected.

Power off the printer and make sure that the print head is properly
connected.

Defective print head.

Replace print head as required.

Defective main circuit board.

Have SATO authorized service personnel to replace main board.

NO DISPLAY AT ALL

Power supply issues.

Make sure that the cable is properly connected. Check/ replace
power supply.
