To reduce the amount of wiring between safe and hazardous areas it is possible to use an
alternative hazardous area mounting IS Relay (DAD149).

This configuration is shown in Figure 13.3

Connections to sounder using hazardous area mounted IS relay (Figure 13.2)

WARNING
When using the DA-149 is relays, ensure the polarity is correct for both the coil and
contact connections.
