If an effect has its light disabled, it will be displayed with transparent background.
If an effect has its sound disabled, a mute symbol will be displayed next to the effect.
The Idle effect has an additional slider control, called “Pulse Time”:
If the Idle Hum light effect is enabled, the saber will pulse between the blade color and the idle
hum color with a time period proportional to the value set by this slider. Setting the pulse time
to low values will determine a fast flicker and setting it to high values will determine a slow
pulse.
If you disable the idle light effect, the blade will no longer pulse when in idle mode and it will
keep the blade color.

When you select a font slot that does NOT
hold and express font, the effect buttons will
initially appear disabled; this is designed to
prevent confusion between express and
advanced fonts. With a single click you can
enable editing as an express font, which will
take the latest set of effect colors you used in
the font wizard.
♦
The font overview that you’ll see when you press “Finish” is actually the last page of the
advanced font wizard. Here you can change the name of the font, save it on your hard
disk or change any effect. What the express font wizard did was to create a full font based
on a preset and your color options.
♦
If you edit an express font with the advanced font editor, it will be converted from an
express to an advanced font.
