Battery emergency shutdown

Power supply at the emergency switch turned on

ATTENTION

Risk of machine damage.

If this switch is tilted upward while the ignition is on, it can lead to data loss.
It may also seriously damage the exhaust gas after-treatment system (SCR system)

(only RP2Sd).

The switch (

97

) for emergency shutdown of the battery is situated behind the pro-

tective rubber behind the left rear wheel. This switch may be actuated IN CASE OF

EMERGENCY ONLY.
In an emergency (e.g. fire in the vehicle), swivel the red flap upwards and tilt the

switch upwards. This disconnects the battery from the vehicle power supply

immedi-

ately and without delay

by the battery disconnection relay.
