6.9.2 Additional chassis (option)
In order not to exceed the prescribed axle load on the public roads, e.g. in Federal
Republic of Germany, in certain states the machine has to be equipped with the addi-
tional chassis.
6.9.2.1 Additional chassis coupling

To couple the additional chassis, please proceed as follows:
– Perform the coupling process preferably on an even surface.
– Switch into the "Field" operating mode.
– Move the lifting unit into the central position.
– Swing up the leaf sensor and secure it using safety hooks.
– Swing the depth-control wheels in and lock them.
Press the key "Coupling mode" (
28 ) once to activate the coupling mode. If the key is
pressed and held, the back run lock can be overridden ( See Page 174 ).
ATTENTION
Risk of machine damage.
Severe damages, especially to the scalper, occur if this key is pressed (back run lock
overridden) when the scalper or lifting shares are in contact with the ground. Dam-
ages to the lifting unit caused by improper use of the Coupling mode key will not be
accepted as a warranty claim and will not be repaired on a goodwill basis.
