Selecting Sounds

When you’re in Split, you can change the split point (the location at which the keyboard is divided).
Press [SPLIT] to turn Split on.
While holding down [SPLIT], press the key that you want to assign as the split point.
The key you pressed will be the new split point.
The split point key is included in the Upper part.
Press [EXIT] to close the setting window.
You can also change the split point by holding down [SHIFT] and pressing [SPLIT] to access the
setting window. In this case, use the VALUE dial or [DEC] [INC] to specify the split point in the
setting window, and press [EXIT] to close the window.
“Dual” is when two patches are layered across the keyboard.
Press [PERFORM].
The PERFORM PLAY screen will appear.

Press [DUAL] so it’s lit.
You’ll be in Dual.
[PART SELECT] will light, and the PART SELECT screen
will appear.
The Upper part and Lower part patches will sound
together.
Use [ ] [ ] to move the cursor to the UPPER or LOWER patch number, and use the VALUE dial
or [DEC] [INC] to select the desired patch.
To cancel Dual, press [DUAL] so it’s extinguished.
You can press [WRITE] to save the split or dual setting in the performance. For details on saving,
refer to “Saving a Performance You’ve Created ([WRITE])” (p. 133).
