The “START” screen is an information tool during the work. The main data of your
work are displayed here. The values can’t be modified on this screen.
7.4 “SETUP” screen
This is where the values of the different settings
of the machine can be modified. Also the
thickness of the book block is to be measured
here to enable the machine to set the distance of
the side gluing rollers and the scoring wheels.
To change a value, simply touch the icon of it. A small panel will appear with
numbers. By clicking on the “C” letter can be cancelled the previous value. Enter the
new value then press OK.
Here is the explanation of the icons of the screen and the possible values:
1. Value of the length on the spine to NOT glue
Here can be adjusted the length of the two end of the spine which will be not glued
during the binding process to not have the glue coming out under the cover at the
two end of the spine. The minimum value is 0 to have glue on the whole length of
the spine. The maximum value is 99 mm. On the spine of the book at both side (top
and bottom) together or separately can be adjusted that length which will not be
glued.
2. Value of the fine adjustment of the distance of the side
gluing rollers
Here can be fine adjusted the distance of the side gluing rollers.
The minimum value is 0 to not have more distance than the measured. The
maximum value is 99 mm.
