5.7.1. Regulation of the pressing power of the binding unit
It is possible to regulate the pressing power of the binding unit in
case of binding of different thick paper sheets. The way of it: the
carriage clamp together with the book block has to be at the right
end position and the nipping unit must be closed. The non the
pressure-gauge built on the right side of the machine the current
pressure can be seen. Then the pressure can be increased or
decreased as per the operator’s needs or the quality of the paper. Because of the
safety locker the turning roller has to pull down and by turning itt he pressure can be
regulated.
5. 8. Cover page feeder
This unit delivers the
coverpage from the table to
the binding unit. This unit is
operated by pneumatic. The
coverpage is gripped by
vacuuming paws. It is
important to keep the paws
clearly, to let the delivery of
the cover to be uncluttered.
Flannel the adhesive surface
of the paws with wet cleaning
cloth leached in rectifier,
because it loses its adhesive
ability due to the fine dust
coming from the paper.
The vacuum can be locked in the non used arms by the hexagon sockets which can
be found at the end of the suction arms.
