Slide in the new supply until it clicks into place.

Replace the power cord.

Turn off all power supplies.
2.
Remove attached cables.
3.
Loosen the screws securing the input or output module or blank and remove it.
4.
Slide the new module in place being certain that it fully seats or install a blank.
5.
Tighten the captive screws.
6.
Replace cables as required.
7.
Power on the system.
9.4 Input and Output Module Replacement
CAUTION
Power off the
Linx DVI Switcher
before inserting or removing input and output
modules.
CAUTION
All I/O slots must be occupied or a blank installed before restoring power. Operating
with an open slot will cause the unit to overheat.

Problem

No AC power.
Check that the power cords are correctly connected to
the
Linx DVI Switcher
and to an AC power sources
and that the power switch is in the ON position.
If the power supply encounters a short or excessive
load, it will shut down. Power the
Linx DVI Switcher
off, correct the short or remove the excess load, and
power it on again.
Telnet
Invalid password.
Correct password is RGB; this must be upper case.
User name and password entered but
connection to host is lost.
8000 must be entered following the IP address in the
Telnet command.
Example
:
telnet 192.168.34.70 8000
Cannot connect to host.
Check that the PC has a static IP address compatible
with the
Linx DVI Switcher
and network.
