This equipment complies with EU RoHS Directive 2002/95/EC. This equipment, with the listed allowed
exception noted below, does not contain any homogeneous material that:
a) Contains lead (Pb) in excess of 0.1% weight (1,000 ppm),
b) Contains mercury (Hg) in excess of 0.1% weight (1,000 ppm),
c) Contains hexavalent chromium (CR VI) in excess of 0.1% weight (1,000 ppm),
d) Contains polybrominated biphenyls (PBB) in excess of 0.1% weight (1,000 ppm),
e) Contains polybrominated dimethyl ethers (PBDE) in excess of 0.1% weight (1,000 ppm), or
f)
Contains cadmium (Cd) in excess of 0.01% weight (100 ppm).
The only listed exception is for lead (Pb) contained in the dielectric of exempted multi-layer ceramic
capacitors.

Disposal of this equipment must comply with local regulations for waste electronics and electrical
equipment.
S E R V I C E
While there are no user serviceable parts in the
Linx DVI Switcher,
the product contains various field
replaceable units (FRU’s).
L I M I T E D W A R R A N T Y
RGB Spectrum (RGB) warrants that this product will be free from defects in material and workmanship,
under normal use and service when correctly installed and maintained, for a period of three (3) years from
date of shipment. RGB’s liability under this warranty is limited solely to replacing, repairing or issuing credit
for any product which is shown to be defective during the warranty period. Purchaser shall (i) notify RGB
promptly in writing of any claims, and (ii) provide RGB with an opportunity to inspect and test the product
claimed to be defective. Warranty does not cover misuse, abuse, improper installation or application,
improper maintenance or repair, alteration, accident or negligence in use, improper temperature, humidity
or other environmental condition, storage, transportation or handling. RGB Spectrum shall have no
obligations under this warranty with respect to any defect unless it receives notice and a description of
such defect no later than five (5) business days following the expiration of the warranty period.
THE WARRANTIES STATED HEREIN ARE IN LIEU OF ALL OTHER WARRANTIES, EXPRESS OR
IMPLIED, INCLUDING (BUT NOT LIMITED TO) ANY IMPLIED WARRANTIES OF MERCHANTABILITY
OR FITNESS FOR A PARTICULAR PURPOSE.
IN NO EVENT SHALL RGB BE LIABLE FOR ANY SPECIAL, INCIDENTAL OR CONSEQUENTIAL
DAMAGES FOR LOSS, DAMAGE OR EXPENSE DIRECTLY OR INDIRECTLY ARISING FROM THE
PURCHASER’S INABILITY TO USE THE PRODUCT EITHER SEPARATELY OR IN COMBINATION
WITH ANY OTHER EQUIPMENT OR FACILITIES, OR FROM ANY OTHER CAUSE.
