Power Supply Replacement

Linx DVI Matrix Switchers User’s Guide

Figure 9-1

Fuse Holder

Replace the blown fuse with the spare inserting it into the side of the holder with contacts.

Re-insert the fuse holder with the new fuse to the right.

Replace the power cord and turn on the AC power.

9.3.1

Linx 3200

Power off the supply to be replaced. The

Linx DVI Switcher

may remain on powered by the

second supply.

Remove the six 4-40 x 1/4" black Phillips flathead screws which secure the air filter
cover on the front of the unit.

Remove the upper foam filter.

Loosen the thumb screw which secures the power supply and slide it out.

Slide in a replacement supply and tighten the thumb screw.

Replace the foam filter.

Re-attach the air filter cover with the six screws.

9.3.2

Linx 1600 and Linx 3200S

The

Linx 3200S

has two, redundant power supplies; one supply may be replaced while the

unit remains powered on. The

Linx 1600

has a single power supply. Use the following

procedure to replace a power supply.

Remove the power cord of the supply to be replaced.

Press the tab to the left and slide out the power supply.

9.3 Power Supply Replacement

Note

If one power supply is not installed, its LED on the front panel of the

Linx 3200

will

be non-functional and therefore will not display any status.
