Power Supply
The DC power supply (860 9793) converts 110-240 VAC to 12VDC and includes a locking
connector on the cable.
On the rear panel of all
Linx DVI Matrix Switcher
models, located between the Ethernet and RS-232
ports, are two recessed buttons. Their functions duplicate software commands
SYStemReSeT
and
RestoreFactoryDefaults
. While command entry is the preferred method of performing these
operations, the buttons may be used if communication with the unit has been lost.
Use a small, non-conducting tool to depress the buttons. Push
RST
to reset the system; this is
equivalent to rebooting the unit. Push the
RFD
to restore factory default settings on the unit;
extreme caution should be used
when pressing this button as it will erase all user settings and
presets with the exception of the IP address data.
The input modules for the 4-RU, 6-RU, and 7-RU
Linx Switchers
look similar. The 2-RU modules are
slightly different, using a different bracket, and are not interchangeable with the other ones.
There are four LEDs per module. One LED indicates that the module is powered; the Ready LED
blinks to indicate that the module has booted and is ready. Each input has a DVI Active LED which
indicates the presence of a DVI or HDMI signal.
