Output modules are inserted on the right side of the unit as viewed from the rear. Each
output module supports two DVI outputs. Note the numbering of the ports on the
modules: upper connectors are odd numbered; lower connectors are even numbered.
E T H E R N E T P O R T
The Ethernet port supports 100/1000 gig BASE-T on an RJ-45 connector.

Serial control of the
Linx DVI Switcher
is supported through the RS-232 port on a DB-9
connector.
A C P O W E R
The AC power cords are connected to the power supply modules. The power switch is
to the right of the supplies. Note the cord (NEMA5-15P/IEC-C19, 15A, 6FT) uses an
inlet plug that is larger than typical. See
Chapter 9
for instructions on replacing the
power supply.
The
Linx 3200
is contained in a 6-RU housing with standard rack-mounting brackets and rear rack
supports. Features on the front and rear of the
Linx 3200
are identical to those on the
Linx 3200S
with the exception of the power supplies. The power supplies for the
Linx 3200
are located inside
the front panel.

Supplied Components
Accessories supplied with the
Linx 3200
include two AC power cords, two rails for rear rack
mount support, 10 mounting screws for the rear rack mount supports and a CD that contains
this manual.
CAUTION
It is not necessary to have all input slots populated with modules. But if a slot has no
module, a blank plate must be installed.
The AC power must be off before removing or installing an input module.
