EXPORTSETTINGS
<PRESETS | EDID |
SYSTEM | ALL> [file
name.txt]
Writes a list of system attributes to a text file. The file
name may be up to 23 characters in length; use any
alpha numerics or underscore. The name must include
the
.txt
extension. The resulting file may be
downloaded from the
Linx DVI Switcher
through the
Ethernet port. See “Downloading a File from the Linx
Switcher” on page 70 for complete instructions.
Example:
To export the routing of all presets to a file
named “Presets,” type:
exportsettings presets Presets.txt

IMPORTSETTINGS
<file name.txt>
Loads a list of system attributes from a saved file. The file
must include the extension .
txt
.
Example:
To load the settings file system.txt, type:
importsettings system.txt
LOGEX

Extract the specified number of entries from the log file
with the specified priority level or greater; see
LOGLeVeL
.
Example:
To display the most recent 100 log entries of
critical level or higher, type:
logex crit 100
and press
ENTER

Set or display the log level.
Example:
To set the level for errors, use the command:
loglvl err
Without an argument, the current level is returned.

Sets the system time using a 24-hour clock.
Example:
To set the system time to 9:30:15 on June 20,
2007, type:
2007 06 20 09 30 15
Without an argument the command returns the current
system time.
