NAMEEDID
<list #>
<EDID name>
When an entry is created using the
SaVeEDID
command, the default name is the resolution of the
specified output; use this command to rename an
entry. To delete a name, enter the list number
followed by “”.
Entry names can be up to 23 characters in length
and may include alpha, numeric, and punctuation
characters.
Example:
To assign the name ViewSonic to list entry
45, type:
nameedid 45 ViewSonic
To display the current name of an entry omit the
name argument.

Saves the EDID parameters of the specified output
to the list number entered.
Example:
Save the EDID information of output 6 to
timing index number 31, type:
svedid 31 6

Deleting a preset clears it of any input/output
assignments and removes the name if one has been
entered. A prompt to confirm the delete is displayed.
Example:

Lists preset names in a specified range or all presets.
Example:
To list presets 10 through 20, type:
lspst 10 20

For a preset name, enter a maximum of 23
alphanumeric characters; spaces may be used.
Example:
To name preset 11 “Training”, type:
namepst 11 Training
Without a preset name, this command returns the
current name of the preset number entered.
