Listing Macros
Macros that are already stored on the
Linx DVI Switcher
front panel flash card can be listed
using the command
MACROLIST
from either the RS-232 or Telnet command line interfaces.
6.9.4
Deleting Macros
Macros are stored in the “/macro” folder of the compact flash card. A macro can be deleted
from the compact flash card using the command
MACRODELete.

Running Macros
The
MACRORUN
command is used to load and execute the particular macro that you wish to
execute. Macros are stored in the folder “/macro” on the compact flash card.

Pausing Macros
A macro consists of a sequence of commands that are executed in the order in which they
are placed in the file. A macro can be paused indefinitely or for a specified period of time by
issuing the
MACROPAUSE
command.
A paused macro can be canceled by using the
MACROABORT
command or restarted by
using the
MACRORESUME
command.

Canceling Macros
A macro can be stopped during execution by issuing the command
MACROABORT
. After a
macro has been stopped in this way you will have to use the
MACRORUN
command to load
and rerun a macro.
Note
There is no facility to rename the file during the download process.
Example
To delete the macro named “trm.txt,” use the command:
macrodel trm.txt
To run the macro named “trm.txt,” use the command:
macrorun trm.txt
Note
A macro can contain other macros.
