The landsides can be rotated once to take full advantage of the wear layer.
At the latest when the landsides become in the rear area „sharp-edged“, they
should be turned.
To turn landsides, proceed as follows:
¾
Dismantle all existing landside plates / landside protectors.
¾
Dismantle the landsides (3 pcs. screws).
¾
Rotate the landsides by 180 °.
¾
Mount all screws and landside plates / landside protectors
in reverse order.
The landside protectors increase the effective surface of the landsides and thus
improve the plow guidance, especially on slopes. Landside protectors signifi
-
cantly reduce the wear and tear on the landsides.
As standard, the landside protectors are mounted on the rearmost plow body,
optionally they can also be mounted on all plow bodies (recommended for
slopes and to protect the landsides against wear).
The Landside protectors have a hole group „A“ and can be adjusted in depth.
It is also possible to change the plates from side to side in order to be able to
fully utilize the wear layer.
Mouldboards are hardened parts made of high-strength steel.
The mouldboards are finely polished at the factory before painting and coated
with a special peelable lacquer.
Before you use your new plow for the first time, the green paint must be com
-
pletely removed from the mouldboards (on the wear side). The paint can be
scraped off with a spatula.
The mouldboard-tip is made from the same material and process as the mould
-
board itself. In addition, the mouldboard-tip is provided with a hard layer (hard
weld seam) on the wear edge.
As soon as the wear edge is so worn that the trunk underneath threatens to
wear out, the part must be replaced immediately.
The deflector plate protects the plow leg from wear.
In particularly sticky conditions (when soil sticks on to the mould
-
boards), the deflector plates should be completely removed. If the
deflector plates has to be dismantled, a connecting sheet must be
screwed between the mouldboard and the mouldboard tip.
Trunk-protectors defend the trunk in the front area from wear and must be
replaced if they are worn out.
As soon as the trunk protector is so worn that the trunk underneath threatens
to wear out, the part must be replaced immediately.
