• Function #4, green LED flashes 4x short: Start mode when driving off
Depending on this setting, the take-off/start speed is more or less powerful. Note that the two top settings use a
high-quality rechargeable battery capable of providing the appropriate current during take off. Additionally, these two
stages negatively affect the service life (drive pinion, main gear, differential, tyres) due to the higher strain on the
drive).
• Function #5, green LED flashes 1x long: Maximum braking strength
The speed controller unit allows proportional braking strength depending on the setting of the transmitter lever.
A high setting (e.g. 100%) decreases braking distance but has a negative effect on the lifetime of the drive (drive
pinion gear, main gear, differential, tyres).
• Function #6, green LED flashes 1x long, 1x short: Max. reverse speed
The maximum speed for reversing can be programmed with this function. We recommend setting the reverse speed
to 50% so that the vehicle can be controlled better in reverse driving.
If reverse driving has been switched off (see „Function #1“), programming of the function #6 has no effect.
• Function #7, green LED flashes 1x long, 2x short: Minimum braking strength
Here, the brake force can be set when braking starts.
The pre-setting is the same braking strength as the motor brake (see „Function #2“), but other values can be pro-
grammed as well.
• Function #8, green LED flashes 1x long, 3x short: Neutral range (for neutral setting on transmitter)
This function allows the range or area „D“ (see picture right) of the
speed controller is recognised as the neutral position by the transmit-
ter. For the „D“ area, the values of 6%, 9% and 12% of the entire lever
travel can be set (E+D+F = 100%).
A = Neutral position (mechanical middle position of the throttle/brake
lever when it is released)
B = Full throttle forward
C = Full throttle reverse
D = Neutral position recognition range
E = Forwards range
F = Reverse range
• Function #9, green LED flashes 1x long, 4x short: Timing
Generally, higher values for timing increase the engine speed. Torque, however, decreases and power consumption
increases (lower driving time, engine and speed controller may overheat). The manufacturer has already chosen
the best settings for the engine built into the vehicle. It should only be changed by experienced model sportsmen.
