Tools Needed:
Ratchet and 7/16 socket or 7/16 wrench

1.
Remove the two screws, shown in Figure 3-8, from both sides of the hood and lift
the hood from the frame. Set aside the screws.
2.
On each side of the machine
frame, locate the buffer brush
pressure screws. Figure 3-9
shows the screws on the side
near the waste tank.
3.
Loosen
the screws just
enough to allow you to move
the buffer brush linkage.
Do
not
remove the screws.
