5.4.3 Loading the disposable tips
This window (Page 3/16) allows you to check that there are
enough disposable tips on the worktable.
The worktable graphic highlights the tip racks in yellow.
Within each tip rack, a white circle indicates a tip is present,
while a black circle indicates a tip is absent. The arrangement
of tips in the graphic should match the arrangement of tips
on the worktable.
Below the worktable graphic, there are “Yes” buttons which
correspond to the tip racks in the worktable graphic.
For example, the “Yes Tip Rack 1” button corresponds to
“Tip Rack 1”. A “Yes” button is inactivated if its
corresponding tip rack is full.
The text in the window indicates how many tips are required
for the protocol. If there are enough tips on the worktable,
click “No”. If there are not enough tips, fill the empty tip
racks with tips and click the corresponding “Yes” buttons.
