If you want to assign a name to each sample, click “Yes”. The
following window (Page 10/16) appears:
The samples are numbered from 1 to 48, and are divided
into groups of 6. Each group corresponds to a row of
samples from the worktable (see screenshot of Page 9/16 on
page 5-19). Next to each sample number is a dialog field
where the sample name can be added.
You can either enter or import sample names. You can also
export sample names for use in a future protocol. For details,
see below. When all the dialog fields are filled, the “Next”
button becomes activated. Click “Next” to move to the next
window.
Entering sample names
Enter the sample names into the active dialog fields by using
the keyboard.
Alternatively, you can enter the sample names by using an
optional bar code reader (see Appendix B for specifications).
