OPERATION

1. Set cross gradient
To guarantee clean raking, the rotor chassis
should be tilted slightly toward the swath. As
a result, the side-raking start should be approx.
1.0 - 1.5 cm higher.
1. Lower the rotor unit using the crank (1) - until the inner
tines just touch the ground.
1
2. Set the outer tines using eccentric bolt (2) - approx.
1.0 - 1.5 cm above ground.

a. Loosen nuts (3) slightly using a size 36 open-end
spanner.
b. Set the required inclination using the eccentric bolt
(2) and a size 36 open-end spanner.
c. Re-tighten the nuts (3). (Tightening torque 280 Nm)
All the wheels (a-c) can be set in this way.
The wheels (a1,a2 or b1,b1) on one side
of the rotor unit should be set the same.
2. Adjusting rake height
1. Set rake height with the hand crank (1) - individually for
each rotor unit. Turn crank (1) anti-clockwise to increase
the distance of the tines to the ground. Turn crank (1)
clockwise to decrease the distance of the tines to the
ground.
- Inside tines should lightly touch the ground (approx.
10-20 cm) depending on forage quantity.
2,0 cm
- Adapt working height to ground conditions.
- Fodder becomes dirty or turf becomes damaged if
the setting is too low.
- Check the setting frequently during operation.
