WORKING POSITION

From headland to working position
1. Ensure that the swivel range is clear and that no-one
is standing in the danger area.
2. Swivel the rotor arms to the working position by setting
the single-acting control valve (ST) in the "Neutral"
position.
3. Lock the transport safeguard pins in the working position
(D).
D
- The cardan shaft drive does not have to be switched
off.
Check the working position
- The centre gearbox (10) should be at the same
height as both rotor gearboxes (17) (aligned with
the cardan shafts)
- Fix this position on the lifting gear control lever (50)
by means of the stop (51)
- Adjust the tine contact for the individual rotors using
both hand cranks (18)
Travelling on public roads
Beware!
- Observe the official regulations of your
state/country.
- Driving on public roads may only be
undertaken as described in the chapter
"Transport position".
- Protective devices must be attached and
in proper working order.
- Before travelling bring all swivelling
parts into their correct positions and
secure against potentially dangerous
position changes.
- Before driving, check that the lights
function.
