Reducing the transport height
Carry out the following steps to reduce the transport height:
In working position:
- Remove the two outside tine arms from each rotor.
Each tine arm is secured with a spring pin.
- Store the tine arms in the rack provided.
The tine rack is located on the front end of the machine,
behind the headstock.
Conversion to single rotor operation
(boundary areas)
Safety information!
Changing from the working to the transport position and
vice versa must only to be carried out on level, solid
ground.
Beware!
Refer to the information in the chapter
"Travelling on Public Roads"!
1. Bring the machine to the working position (see chapter
"From Transport to Working Position")
2. Remove the cardan shaft at the middle gearbox from
the rotor which is to be disabled .
3. Slide removed cardan shaft onto the rear profile pegs
(60) on the support frame.
Beware!
Ensure that the swivel range is clear and
that no-one is standing in the danger area.
4. Raise both rotors completely using the tractor's control
unit and allow both locking mechanisms (11) to engage
(Pos. E)
5. Secure the locking mechanism for the disabled rotor
with the accompanying linchpin (11a).
