Handbrake

The handbrake acts on the rear wheels and serves

to secure the car from rolling away while parked.

Applying the handbrake

Pull handbrake lever upwards.

Releasing the handbrake

Pull handbrake lever slightly upwards, press

the locking button and lower the lever

completely.

The warning lights on the instrument panel and on

the on-board computer are lit when the handbrake

is on and go out when the handbrake is fully

released.

Please observe the chapter “WARNINGS ON

THE INSTRUMENT PANEL AND THE ON-

BOARD COMPUTER” on page 106.
