Child Restraint System
Danger!
Risk of serious or mortal injury from
passenger airbag if not switched off when
using a child restraint system.
f
If children weighing up to 27 kg are going to be
transported in a child restraint system on the
passenger’s seat, the passenger airbag must
be switched off.
If the body weight is more than 27 kg, the
passenger airbag should be switched on.
f Seek appropriate advice from your Porsche
partner about the possible installation of a
Porsche child restraint system.
Note
The key switch for switching off the passenger
airbag and the Isofix attachment bracket are not
installed at the factory. They can be retrofitted.
f
Consult a qualified specialist workshop. We
recommend a Porsche partner for this work as
they have trained workshop personnel and the
necessary parts and tools.

f Always observe the separate installation
instructions for your child seat.
f
When using a child restraint system, it is vital
that you observe the legal regulations appli-
cable in your country.
f Use only child restraint systems recommended
by Porsche.
These systems have been tested and adjusted
to the interior of your Porsche and the appro-
priate child age groups.
Other systems have not been tested and could
entail an increased risk of injury.
f If possible, always fit child seats for the age
groups from 9 months to 12 years on the rear
seats.
Fit child seats for the age group up to
9 months exclusively on the passenger's seat.
