6. Envelope Bottom Edge
Menu Option Settings What It Does
Env. Bottom Edge
Allows you to raise or lower the barcode with
respect to the bottom edge of the envelope,
when the lower right corner is selected for
barcode printing. Use this option only if the
barcode is out of specification (1/4 inch from
the bottom edge of the media to the bottom
edge of the bar code, +/- 1/16 inch).
Press + (MORE) or - (LESS) to adjust the
barcode bottom edge distance by increasing
or decreasing the number (0—50). A lower
number moves the barcode down; a higher
number moves the barcode up toward the top
of the envelope.
NOTE:
If the barcode position is fluctuat-
ing, check the tension of the main drive belt.

Press the
Test Envelope
to print an enve-
lope bottom edge test pattern. This time the
test pattern should have the correct distance
between the bottom edge of the media and
the test pattern. The pattern printed should
look like the following example.
