7.1.9. STATUS OUT
The camera status can be so set that the camera always outputs data of its status in
the serial format by setting the [STATUS OUT] to ON from the menu in the following
procedure:
Press the MENU button on the keypad and use the joystick to select [STATUS OUT]
and press the joystick down.
Then select ON for [STATUS OUT]. The camera has been set to camera status data
output in the serial format via the RS422 interface.
The camera statuses where serial data can be output are LIVE, MEMORY, READY,
REC and ENDLESS. When the camera turns into one of these statuses, the camera
status data is output in the serial format.
With this feature, you can know the camera status without sending a camera
information acquisition request command.
The serial commands used to specify the camera status are as follows:
LIVE:
0x53, 0x30
MEMORY: 0x53, 0x31
READY: 0x53, 0x32
REC: 0x54, 0x33
ENDLESS: 0x53, 0x34
Example:
When the camera status is changed from MEMORY to LIVE, the camera automatically
issues 0x53, then 0x30, which means that the camera is in the LIVE mode.
