4.6.2. Recording into Divided Sections
This section describes how to record in the PARTITIONED MEMORY mode.
Note: The following instruction is good only when MODE 1 is selected in PARTITION MODE.
1. Make sure that the camera is in the LIVE mode.
2. Move the joystick left or right to select the ID number of the section that you wish to record.
Make sure if the ID number displayed in the screen is correct.

3. Once the ID number has been selected, start a recording in the usual manner.
4.6.3. Playback of Recorded Sections
Recorded image in any of the sections can be played by selecting the ID of the particular section
of interest as follows:
1. Make sure that the camera is in the MEMORY mode.
2. Move the joystick on the keypad, left or right, to select a section that you wish to play. Make
sure if the displayed ID number is correct.
3. Once the section that you wish to play back has been selected, play it in the usual manner
following the instructions in Chapter 5.
4.6.4. PARTITION MODE
The explanation in the previous section 4.6.2. (Recording into Divided Sections) is only applicable
when
MODE 1 is selected in PARTITION MODE.
When MODE 2 is selected, manual ID selection is not necessary: it is automatically updated.
The following is an explanation for recording in divided sections in MODE 2 when the number of
partitions is 10, for example (see 4.6.2.).
1. Set the camera in READY status with ID01.
2. Give a trigger to start a recording.
3. Recording ends.
4. ID is automatically updated to 02 and the camera gets in the “REC-trigger waiting” status.
The REC-trigger waiting status means the READY status for the START mode, and the
ENDLESS status for CENTER, END and MANUAL modes.
5. Press the REC button to give a trigger to start a recording.
6. Recording end.
7. ID is automatically updated to 03 and the camera gets in the “REC-trigger waiting” status.
8. Repeat 2, 3, and 4 above again and again until you have completed recording in ID 10 when
the camera returns to LIVE mode.
As seen in the above, because ID is updated automatically and REC-trigger waiting status is
automatically set up, MODE 2 operation is useful for consecutive recordings of events.
Note: MODE 2 is good with START, CENTER, END and MANUAL modes only.
