3.1.5. Switching intensifier off
Press the MENU button on the keypad to open the menu. Select <II POWER> and then select
<OFF> and press the Enter key. The LED indicator in the II power switch on the camera head
goes out. Move the II power switch to the OFF position and the shutdown of the intensifier is
completed. Be sure to use this II power switch whenever you shut down the intensifier.
To switch the camera processor off, be sure to do so only after you have first shut down the
intensifier.
If the power to the intensifier is shut off using the II power SW on the camera head in an
emergency, the menu display remains as it was before the shutoff, which erroneously indicates as
if the intensifier is still working. To return the intensifier from this status to active status, you need
to press the MENU button to have the menu displayed and select <II POWER OFF> and enter it,
and then select <II POWER ON> and enter it. Make sure the green LED indicator in the II power
SW on the camera head has lighted, which indicates the intensifier is back in the active mode.
Shutdown of intensifier from keypad
In an emergency, the power to the intensifier can be shut off from the keypad. Simply press the
STOP button on the keypad to shut down the intensifier. With this switch, there is no need to use
the menu to switch the intensifier power off in an emergency.
Note, however, this STOP switch is for shutdown of the intensifier only. To switch the intensifier on,
you must use the menu to select II POWER ON (see

STOP button
