3.1.2. I.I. (Image Intensifier) menu operation
There are three menus that are used to set up the II (image intensifier) for operation. Details of
them are described below:

II POWER Menu

switches power to the II (image intensifier) on and off.
Press the MENU button on the keypad to have the main menu displayed. Select “II POWER” in the
menu. The II POWER menu is displayed in the window as shown below:
OFF Switches power off.
II POWER ON Switches power on.
ON LOAD Switched-on status stored in memory. Switches power on.
The above setup starts up the intensifier, but the II is not ready to work. The monitor screen
remains dark unless II’s gating is set up as shown in

below.
When you press the STORE button while the II is active, the status of the II is stored in memory. At
this time, the gate setting is still off; it must be set up.

II GAIN GATE

sets the gain and gate of the II.
Note: When you move the cursor between the setup items, press the ZOOM/SCROLL button for
upward movement and the FIT button downward. The up-down movement of the joystick changes
the setup values only. Its left-right movement does not move the cursor between menu items.
