FASTCAM-ultima APX-i2 Hardware Manual

After connecting an APX-i2 camera to a PC with a network cable, no installation of
driver software in the PC is necessary. All you have to do is to register the camera’s IP
address with the FASTCAM Control Software being used. See the FASTCAM Control
Software Operation Manual, section 3.13.5 Registration of IP address (Ether Network)
for information and instructions.

by LED indicators

Indication by LED’s

・Green:

Power on/Sync in: Lights when power is on. Blinks when external sync input is

present.
・Orange: Link: Lights when linkage is complete. Blinks during command/data transfer.
・Yellow: Trigger: Lights when a REC trigger is given.

Installing a Photron optical interface board in a PC and connecting an APX-i2 camera
processor to the PC using an optical cable, the camera can be controlled by the
attached FASTCAM Control Software.
