Set System Banner

Set System Time

The

SET SYSTEM TIME

command allows the operator to set the clock for

Monitor event messages and the logon message. If the time is not set, the

system time is reported based on the power-on value of 00:00:00.

Front Panel Access

displays as the second line

Note

The multiplexer uses a 24-hour clock.

Entries using this command should reflect

this. The system time is reset to

00:00:00after a power failure.

The

SET SYSTEM BANNER

command allows you to program the top line on

the Main Menu. The system accepts up to 60 characters and prints them each

time the Main Menu is displayed.

To access

from the Main Menu:

Type in the new banner up to 60 characters.
