The multiplexer updates the channel inactivity disconnect and returns the
CHANNEL PARAMETERS
menu. If the
RETURN
key is pressed without
entering an inactivity disconnect option, the Main Menu is returned.

The
DISCONNECT CHARACTER
parameter is only relevant in DCX
net-
working applications. Upon receipt of the disconnect character, a message is
generated to the DCX
to either make or tear down a DCX 850 User Switching
Option (USO) connection. This character is normally CTRL + T, but you may
specify any other character by selecting the
USER
option.
