I/O Configuration

To add your RS-232 ASCII module to RSLogix 5000 I/O configuration,
follow these steps:

• In RSLogix 5000:

- For ControlNet, highlight the

1738-ACNR, right click and select

New Module.

- For EtherNet/IP, highlight the

1738-AENT, right click and select

New Module.

• Choose the equivalent Rockwell Automation module

1738-232ASCM12 from the list of modules.
