Save and exit.
IMPORTANT!
The Scout database is saved with DAO 3.5
(Access ‘97). If you are using an Access version
more updated, do not modify (saving) the
database with the new version, because the
modified file would not be readable from the Scout
software.
If it was due to a wrong maneuver by a non expert
user, reload the database and save it again with
the DAO 3.5 version (“prior Access database
version”)
No test is visible in the “database
explorer
”
a.
An empty database has been selected.
b.
Check whether the ‘Group’ selection has
been pressed and no “Group” is present in the
database.
c.
Check wheth
er the ‘Operator selection
has been pressed and no “Operator” is present
in the database.
Note
The selections “Group” and “Operator” are of
“toggle” type, and are independent from
alphabetical or chronological selection.
Default settings do not correspond to the
last ones, or the database looks
“disappeared”
a.
Exit the Scout program.
b.
Cancel o change the name (for more
security) to the file “C:\Keratron\Scout.ini”.
c.
Restart the Scout program and set the
preferred options again.
