If the space between the photoelectric cells is not free, but is instead occupied by the
calibration sphere, for example, the software could report the improper action by
means of the message shown in Figure 7-5.

Otherwise the message in Figure 7-
6 requires the removal of the “target” and the
positioning of the “calibration sphere,” which is to be inserted in one of the two chin-
rest’s holes for accessories and adjusted to the height of the eye.
A label is stuck to the back of the “sphere” detailing the diopter power of its front
surface. If this value is different from that detailed in Fig.7-6, this must be corrected
with the two blue arrows.
