In both cases the Keratron asks the operator if the image should be discarded or
memorized locally for subsequent transfer. The maximum number of images
memorizable locally is 8.
If the answer is [Yes] from that moment on an indicator will appear (1 in Figure 7-20)
that takes into account the number of locally memorized images, and also a button [
Accept] (2 in Figure 7-20) to be pressed at the end of the test to send the entire
sequence of images to the external PC in one go.

In practice the operator can acquire up to 8 images in rapid succession, transmitting
them to the external PC with the button on the
joystick
itself, or stop to process them
locally and decide what to do with them later.
Figure 7-21 shows, for example, the image of the calibration sphere with the
curvature map.
