Configuring the Network

Section 3-2

Step 7

Uncheck the Enable DPV1 option on the DPV1 tab before proceeding to Step
7 if you are using OMRON CX-Configurator.

Step 8

Save and download the configuration to your PROFIBUS master.

Step 9

Once the network is re-started with the new settings, check that the Option
Board LED indicators indicate proper operation: If everything is correctly con-
figured, only the RUN and COMM indicators will be ON (green). Please refer
to section

5-1 Troubleshooting using the LED indicators

on page 57 to trouble-

shooting any configuration errors if the LED indicators are displaying a differ-
ent pattern.

Note

Nothing prevents you from selecting an unsupported module in Step 6. If you
are uncertain, check the value of P182 before selecting the module.

Tip

on page 57 in case of

errors.
