7. Fax
The factory default value is 1 Ring.
Change the value if faxes cannot be received.

Press [Device Settings] on the touch panel.

Press or several times and press [Admin Setup].

Enter the administrator name and password and press [OK].
The factory default administrator name and password are "admin" and "999999"
respectively.

Select [Fax Setup].

Select [Other Settings].

Press [Ring Response].

Select a waiting time.

Press [Back] until the home screen is displayed.
Receiving operation varies depending on the specified fax reception mode.
The fax reception mode is set to [Fax Ready Mode] by factory default and the machine
receives faxes automatically. When you change the fax reception mode, check the reception
behavior following the instructions below.
The (Status) indicator on the operator panel is lit while receiving a fax and "Fax
receiving ..." is displayed.
When Receiving Calls and Faxes (Tel/Fax Ready Mode)
If [Tel/Fax Ready Mode] is set, you can use the telephone and fax. To receive calls, you must
connect a telephone to the machine in advance.
The machine automatically detects a voice call or fax.

Fax reception automatically starts.
• Receiving a Call
When receiving a call, the telephone starts ringing.

When the telephone starts ringing, pick up the receiver.
You can answer the call.

When receiving a fax, press (Start).
• If you often receive voice calls, it is recommended [OK] in [Tel Priority Mode].
