Mail
Adding an Address
You can send i-mode mail containing the same
information up to five addresses all at once by
adding these addresses. You can select the
type of address from To, Cc, and Bcc.

Press (Func) in the Edit mail display.
The Function menu appears.

Select [Add receiver] → address type (To/
Cc/Bcc) and press .
The address field of the selected address type
([
]/[ ]/[ ]) is added.

Enter an address in the added address
field [
]/[ ]/[ ].
To delete an address
Move the cursor to an address and from the
Function menu, select [Delete receiver]
→ [Yes].
To change the address type
Move the cursor to an address and from the
Function menu, select [Change addr type]
→ an
address type (To/Cc/Bcc).

Compose mail and send it.

Follow the same steps as in “Compose and send
mail” (P.183, step 4 to 6).
● The mail addresses entered in To and Cc are
displayed in the recipient’s terminal display.
Note, however, that they may not be displayed
depending on the terminal, device, or mail
software of the recipient. The mail addresses
entered in Bcc are not displayed in the recipient’s
terminal display.
Entering an Address from the
Mail List
You can send mail to several recipients saved
in the mail list.

Press (Func) in the Edit mail display.
The Function menu appears.

Select [Mail list]
→
a mail list and press
.
All the members in the list are entered in the
address box.
To select a specific address from the mail list
Press (Each) in the Mail list display and select
a member.

Compose mail and send it.

Follow the same steps as in “Compose and send
mail” (P.183, step 4 to 6).
Reserving Mail to Be Sent
Automatically
If mail is not sent successfully because of
some reasons such as being outside of the
service area, you can reserve mail to be sent
automatically when the radio wave condition is
better.
 You can reserve up to five mails to be sent
automatically.

Press (Func) in the Edit mail display.
The Function menu appears.

Select [Auto-send] and press .
The Auto-send is set, the Edit mail display is closed,
and “ ” appears.
To cancel the Auto-send
From the Mail menu, select [Draft] → [Draft],
move the cursor to the mail, and from the
Function menu, select [Cancel auto-send].
To display the error message of mail failed to be
sent automatically
From the Mail menu, select [Draft] → [Draft],
move the cursor to the mail, and from the
Function menu, select [Error display].
● When the Auto-send is failed, the notification icon
“ ” (Auto-send failed X) appears in the stand-by
display. When the Auto-send is failed because of
being outside of the service area, it is retried to
send mail two more times after failed.
