Select a color of keypad light at [Keypad
light].
[Color1]:
Turn on the white light.
[Color2]:
Turn on the red light.
[OFF]:
Do not turn on the light.
 You may see the color of the illumination indicator
different depending on the main body color of
the FOMA terminal.

Set whether to keep the light on during charging.
[Videophone]:
Set whether to keep the light on during a
videophone call.
[Internet]:
Set whether to keep the light on while displaying
sites or Internet home pages.
[Pict. shoot]:
Set whether to keep the light on while recording
a still image.
[Movie shoot]:
Set whether to keep the light on while recording
a movie.
[Movie play]:
Set whether to keep the light on while playing
back a movie.

Select [ON]/[OFF] of the Backlight always
on for each item and press
.

Select [Illumination] and press .
[Set]:
Set whether to light the illumination indicator.
[Set all illumination]:
Set the illumination indicator for each item at
once.
 When you perform the Set all illumination, the
item set to [OFF] is changed to [ON].
[Individual illumi.]:
Set the illumination indicator for each item
individually.

Select [ON]/[OFF] of the illumination
indicator at [Set].

Select the illumination indicator at [Set all
illumination].
Select from 24 types of the lighting patterns.
W h e n y o u m o v e t h e c u r s o r t o a c o l o r, t h e
illumination indicator lights. You can also set to
[OFF].
To set the illumination indicator for each item
individually
Select [Individual illumi.] → an item → an
illumination indicator. To not light the illumination,
select [OFF].

When you move the cursor to the selected
item and press (Confirm), the illumination
indicator lights in the set lighting pattern.
When the item is set several lighting patterns,
the illumination indicator lights in one of the
patterns.
 To restore the default settings of lighting
patterns for all items, press (Reset) and
select [Yes].
 To set the illumination indicator for placing/
receiving by Number B/Address B of 2in1, you
can set it at the Ringtone for Number B (P.418).

A lighting pattern lights up to about one
minute. The lighting time varies depending on
each lighting pattern.

Select [Yes] and press .
● It may take time to complete charging when
[Charging] of the Backlight always on is [ON].
● The brightness of the display while watching
1Seg is set at the Display light (P.274).
●
When the Auto setting is set to [ON], the
brightness is automatically adjusted based on
the value set at the Adjust light.
