Repack Wheel Bearings
The chain coupler is located between the hydraulic motor and
the conveyor’s drive roller. It should be oiled once a year.
1. If the machine is in the raised position, Install transport
locks on left and right side of the lift axles to avoid cyl

inders settling during servicing.

WARNING
•
Hydraulic Drive Option:
Engage park brake, place
transmission in PARK, shut off engine, remove key,
and wait for all moving parts to stop before leaving
the tractor cab.
•
Electric Drive Option:
Turn machine OFF, shut down
and lock out power source, unplug power cord and
wait for all moving parts to stop before inspecting,
servicing or repairing machine.
• Keep body, hair, and clothing away from moving con
-
veyor belt and rollers.
• Do not operate with any guards removed or modified.
Keep guards in good working order. Failure to comply
could result in death or serious injury.
Follow these steps to repack the wheel bearings. Refer to
1. Block wheels and ensure unit is stable.

5. Only remove Seal

if damaged.
6. Clean wheel and hub mounting surfaces to ensure there
is no rust or debris.
7. Clean the wheel bearings and pack with grease. Use
SAE multi-purpose high-temperature grease with ex
-
treme pressure (EP) performance. SAE multi-purpose
lithium-based grease is also acceptable.
8. Reverse disassembly procedure.
8. Tighten the wheel bolts (diagonal pattern)
with a torque wrench to (70 ft-lbs)
of torque. Inspect to make sure the wheel is sitting flush
with the hub.
